Cyprus-based SME · Industrial technology & Net-Zero engineering

Industrial engineering, digitalisation and the business of getting technology adopted.

Berzen Co. Ltd is a Cyprus-based private SME established in 2015, specialising in advanced industrial technologies, digital systems and the commercialisation of innovative solutions.

The company

Built at the intersection of hardware, data and commercial reality

The company combines expertise in high-tech manufacturing, data analytics, algorithmic systems, IoT integration, Earth observation data and real-time process monitoring to support the digital and green transformation of industrial operations.

Most industrial technology does not fail in the laboratory — it fails on the way to the plant. It is not manufacturable at cost, not instrumented well enough to prove its benefit, or not backed by a business case an operator can sign off. Berzen was built to close exactly that gap: engineering rigour, a measurement layer that produces defensible evidence, and a commercial pathway that survives contact with the market.

Our activities increasingly focus on sustainable manufacturing, energy efficiency and carbon management. We apply our engineering, digitalisation and industrial scale-up capabilities to emerging Net-Zero technologies, including carbon capture, utilisation and storage — developing modular system concepts, process-monitoring architectures, technology feasibility assessments and commercialisation pathways for solutions that can be replicated across different industrial sectors.

What defines us

Four commitments we hold on every engagement

Evidence over assertion

Baselines before claims. If a saving or a reduction cannot be measured on the live process, we say so before the work starts.

Modular by default

Systems are designed as replicable modules sized to the actual source, so a working installation can be repeated rather than reinvented.

Deployment-minded

Every concept is tested against maintenance, safety, connectivity, permitting and the people who will run it at three in the morning.

One accountable team

Engineering, data and commercial work under a single scope — no handover gaps between the people who design, instrument and justify the system.

Our approach

How an engagement runs

A structured sequence that keeps technical risk and commercial risk visible at the same time.

PHASE 01

Assessment & feasibility

We characterise the process, the emission or efficiency profile, and the data that already exists. Output is a technical and economic feasibility view — including the honest case for doing nothing.

  • Process and site review
  • Energy, emissions and performance baseline
  • Technology screening and maturity assessment
PHASE 02

Preliminary engineering & design

Modular system concepts, process flow and instrumentation planning, integration constraints and the monitoring architecture that will later verify performance.

  • Modular / skid-based concept design
  • Sensor, control and data architecture
  • CAPEX and OPEX envelope
PHASE 03

Integration & validation

Equipment, edge computing and analytics brought together on the live process, with models tuned to real operating conditions rather than nameplate assumptions.

  • Commissioning support and data validation
  • Model calibration and alarm tuning
  • Operator dashboards and reporting
PHASE 04

Scale-up & commercialisation

What it takes to repeat the result: manufacturability, supply chain, investment requirement, partnership models and a defensible route to market.

  • Manufacturability and cost-down analysis
  • Market potential and business case
  • Partnership, licensing and funding strategy

Capabilities

What we bring to a project team

  • High-tech manufacturing — process design, equipment integration and production scale-up
  • Data analytics & algorithmic systems — modelling, prediction and optimisation on live process data
  • IoT integration — sensing, connectivity and edge computing engineered for industrial environments
  • Real-time process monitoring — architectures that support both operations and formal reporting
  • Earth observation & geospatial analysis — satellite and remote-sensing data turned into environmental and resource indicators
  • Carbon & energy expertise — capture, mineralisation, efficiency and digital MRV
  • Commercialisation — feasibility, investment case, partnerships and market entry

International collaboration

Cyprus, Israel and China — one network, three strengths

Industrial technology rarely succeeds inside one border. Innovation, delivery structure and manufacturing capacity tend to sit in different places, and most projects lose time moving between them. Berzen operates across all three.

CYPRUS

Base and European reach

Where the company is registered and where engineering and project delivery are led — with links to national research organisations, industry and European innovation programmes.

ISRAEL

Deep-tech collaboration

Partnerships within one of the world's most concentrated technology ecosystems, spanning advanced sensing, algorithmic systems and climate technology.

CHINA

Manufacturing and scale-up

Industrial partners covering component sourcing, prototyping and volume production — the stage that decides whether a proven technology becomes an affordable product.

Our value is not any single one of these relationships. It is that a client deals with one accountable team instead of coordinating three.
