Engineering the digital and green transformation of industry.

Berzen Co. Ltd combines high-tech manufacturing know-how, real-time data systems and carbon management expertise to help industrial operations become measurably cleaner, smarter and more competitive.

We are specialists in Earth observation data — reading the industrial and environmental world from orbit, and fusing what the satellites see with what the sensors on the ground measure, so that every claim rests on two independent records rather than one.

Who we are

A technology partner built for industrial reality, not slideware.

Established in 2015, Berzen Co. Ltd is a Cyprus-based private SME specialising in advanced industrial technologies, digital systems and the commercialisation of innovative solutions. We work where engineering, data and commercial strategy meet — the point at which most good technology stalls.

Our activities increasingly focus on sustainable manufacturing, energy efficiency and carbon management. We apply proven engineering, digitalisation and industrial scale-up capability to emerging Net-Zero technologies, including carbon capture, utilisation and storage.

Underneath all of it sits a measurement layer. Berzen holds deep expertise in Earth observation and downstream space data — Copernicus and other satellite programmes, optical and radar imagery, multispectral indices and satellite positioning — and treats it as a working instrument alongside plant sensors. It is how we baseline a site before a single meter is installed, watch land, water, vegetation and material stockpiles across areas far too large to instrument, and give an environmental claim a second, independently archived source of evidence.

Focus area

Carbon capture, utilisation and permanent mineralisation

Industrial CO₂ becomes a stable mineral carbonate — locked away permanently, with no long-term leakage risk and no dependence on geological storage sites.

We develop modular system concepts, process-monitoring architectures, technology feasibility assessments and commercialisation pathways for solutions that can be replicated across different industrial sectors.

  • Alkaline residue valorisation — slags, ashes, cement and mining by-products assessed as reactive feedstock
  • Modular by design — containerised units sized to the emission source, not to a mega-project
  • Digitally verified — capture and storage instrumented for credible, auditable MRV

Digital backbone

From sensor to decision — one continuous data path

Decarbonisation is a measurement problem before it is an engineering problem. We build the layer that turns plant signals into evidence.

  • Acquire — industrial sensors, meters, PLC and environmental data captured reliably at source
  • Process at the edge — filtering, inference and local control where latency and connectivity matter
  • Model — baselines, predictions and anomaly detection tuned to your process, not a generic template
  • Act — dashboards, alerts and reports that operators, management and auditors all trust

Earth observation

Ground truth from the plant. Context from orbit.

Berzen works with downstream space data — Earth observation, remote sensing and satellite navigation — as a native part of its monitoring practice, not as a separate discipline.

A sensor tells you what is happening at one point. Satellite data tells you what is happening across the site, the catchment and the surrounding land, continuously and at no marginal cost per hectare. Used together, the two resolve what neither can alone: ground instrumentation calibrates the imagery, and the imagery extends the instrumentation beyond the fence line.

  • Environmental monitoring — land cover and vegetation change, surface water, thermal and air-quality indicators tracked over time rather than sampled
  • Resource efficiency and circularity — material stockpiles, site activity and residue streams observed across multiple locations from one workflow
  • Raw material streams — extraction and processing footprints mapped for primary, secondary and critical materials, including tailings and alkaline residues
  • Verification — independent spatial evidence to corroborate what on-site sensors report
  • Copernicus / Sentinel
  • Optical & SAR
  • Multispectral indices
  • Change detection
  • GNSS positioning
  • Time-series analysis

How we work

A disciplined path from question to deployed system

Assess

Technical and commercial feasibility, process baselining and a clear view of what the data already tells us.

Design

Preliminary engineering, modular system concepts and the monitoring architecture that will prove performance.

Integrate

Equipment, sensors, edge computing and analytics brought together and validated on the live process.

Scale

Manufacturability, investment case and go-to-market — so a working pilot becomes a repeatable product.

Beyond the factory floor

The same architecture, applied to land, water and energy

Environmental and agritech deployments share the hard parts with industry: remote assets, intermittent connectivity, harsh conditions and data that has to stand up to scrutiny.

Berzen designs monitoring systems that keep working when the network does not — solar-powered nodes, local buffering, edge inference and reporting that quantifies real environmental performance rather than estimating it.

Instrument first. Optimise second. Claim only what the data supports.

International collaboration

A network that spans three technology ecosystems

Berzen works across Cyprus, Israel and China — combining European project delivery, deep-tech innovation and industrial manufacturing capability within a single partner network.

CYPRUS

Home base and European reach

Our registered base and centre of engineering and project delivery, with links to national research organisations, industry and European innovation programmes.

ISRAEL

Deep-tech and innovation partners

Collaboration with one of the world's densest technology ecosystems — giving access to advanced sensing, algorithmic and climate-technology expertise.

CHINA

Manufacturing and scale-up capability

Industrial partners supporting component sourcing, prototyping and volume manufacturing — the step that decides whether a validated technology becomes an affordable product.

That combination is deliberate: innovation capacity, European delivery structure and manufacturing reach, applied to the same programme rather than handed between three separate suppliers.
